Getting to WildLanterns without the parking lot shuffle
WildLanterns turns Woodland Park Zoo into a lantern trail on select nights from November 13, 2026 to January 17, 2027, and every visit happens after dark in the rainiest part of the Seattle year. The zoo sells event parking at $15 plus taxes and fees in the Otter and Lion lots and $10 in its other lots, reserved in advance or bought on the night only if space is left. The zoo sits in a residential neighborhood, and its own transit direction is Metro bus 5 to Phinney Ave N and N 55th St. Drivers come off I-5 at Exit 169 and funnel west along NE 50th St with everyone else holding the same entry time.
Kamo Limo takes the lot out of the evening. We run Sprinter vans for multi family groups and grandparents, black SUVs for a family with a stroller, and executive sedans for a Night Owls 21+ date night. Every ride is a fixed written rate, the chauffeur drops you at your gate, and the same vehicle takes you home so nobody has to skip the themed bars to drive.
- Sprinter van — up to 14 seats, the whole family group in one vehicle
- Luxury SUV — 6 passengers with room for a folded stroller
- Executive sedan — date night for the Night Owls 21+ evenings
- Hourly booking — the vehicle waits while you walk the lantern trail
- Fixed written rate — no surge pricing on Friday and holiday week nights
Visiting Seattle for the holidays? We meet Sea-Tac arrivals and can run hotel to zoo to dinner on one booking. Families from Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Everett and Tacoma get a door to door quote in writing. WildLanterns also works well as the first stop of a birthday night out or a company outing, and our holiday party transportation page covers larger groups. Check hourly rates or browse the full fleet.
